On any given day, Princess could be found by the fireplace or perched on a  sunny window sill watching the Colorado wildlife pass by. But she was happiest when she took her "throne" atop her Daddy's shoulders. Princess' Mom is one of my dearest friends and this picture was taken on a day she was teaching me how to make crafts, while I stole snuggles. I hope this piece brings happy memories for years to come.

Finn was my first attempt at painting pet portraits. I learned a lot in this work, especially that painting on a porous rock is not ideal. I will paint him again one day... who could resist those eyes?
